Dear Baby™ Wants to Know
Dear Baby™ Wants to Know is a continuation of my brand addressing relationship needs, wants, and desires. Feel free and uninhibited concerning your replies to the question presented.
There comes a time when we want a specific relationship so bad
that we develop temporary attributes to sway a potential love interest our way.
We call this Pseudo Support.
Can this behavior corrupt a relationship from
start?
Greetings ans Salutations everyone!
ReplyDeleteGood evening Mr. Givens.
ReplyDeleteGood evening Ms.Barner.
DeleteLet's get down to it. I believe that pseudo support can become an issue when it’s conditional. Support should be given regardless. If not, the person is in the wrong relationship.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteTo start off with Pseudo Support can hurt a relationship if it's not real.
ReplyDeleteI agree. With an agenda that is of a selfish nature it can sour very quickly.
DeleteVery true!!!
DeleteI believe one should be true oneself and others. Thus, a person's integrity doesn't become questionable.
ReplyDeleteIntegrity seems to the one quality that is forgotten.
DeletePlease feel free to weigh in.
ReplyDeleteI must admit, when I was younger I did this. I was foolish. Then I gain a little wisdom. I will not entertain a relation I can't fully support. I've seen marriages end because of mess like this.
ReplyDeleteI think we all have to grow out of pleasing or a selfish way when growing to be responsible. I too had to learn that support had to cdome from the heart.
DeleteI agree. People at times fail to realize that when you enter a relationship your not just getting the person, but their hopes, dreams, fears, joys, failures, successes, and sorrows. Giving false support, corrupts the foundation of that relationship at it's core.
DeleteI agree wholeheartedly Doris.

ReplyDeleteWell good night Dear Baby readers and God bless.
ReplyDeleteBetter late then never hello Curtis and bloggers ...
ReplyDeleteI also believe pseudo support will result in destruction of a relationship.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young just starting to date I didn't get it but as an adult I always give my all.
